- ALWAYS MOVING FORWARD
- Welcome to the new website of Dr. Consolato Sergi's Lab Group. Thank-you for taking the time to visit. Based at the University of Alberta, we're a diverse group who believes in cooperation. Every voice is heard.

- How can we identify congenital heart defects at an earlier stage than ever?
- What morphogenic defects influence biliary atresia? What role does polyduction have in infant biliary disease?
- These and many more are the sort of questions we ask ourselves.

- Here at the University of Alberta, we have access to a large number of advanced systems and facilities. Along with our international collaborations, this gives us generous opportunities for learning.
- Current Research: Glycosylation, 3D Reconstruction & Signaling, polyduction & cholestatis, proteasome-dependent proteolysis in bone tumors,Metabolic Syndrome and Its Related Risk Factors Among Saudi Postmenopausal Women.
About our Laboratory

A Forward Focus Our laboratory is focused on issues surrounding human developmental pathology. However, a wide range of subjects are covered by our group. Our approach is to make use of diversity. As the researchers in our lab come from a largely varied background, the combination of every viewpoint is a useful tool that has the potential to create unique solutions. We welcome students who are comfortable to work at the lab bench, the computer, or both.
